SPLENDOUR OF AUTUMN

A season presenting spectacular colours, in celebration of a joyous year. Indeed, without doubt most colourful. 

Such supreme magnificence adorns landscapes to an almost surreal degree. 

Continuous rain and a modest amount of hot sunshine, escalates growth where trees seem taller every week. 

Walking amongst these wonders of Nature a number of times, such a phenomenon becomes a delightful reality. 

A truly visible inspiration as heart and mind combine in harmony. So much taller and grander, reaching for the sky where infinity beckons. 

Colours displayed are beautiful beyond imagination. Maroon, deep yellow, red and orange in combination; often on one tree. 

Some leaves are heart shaped as if sending a message of gratitude to Mother Nature for such a wonderful time of the year. 

Should trees themselves be able to relate to such magnificence, perhaps pride and companionship would manifest itself. 

Roots do communicate underground, reaching out in a form of empathy, absorbing rain and gradual warmth of the sun as it penetrates the soil. 

Autumn generates to many wonderful views. Indeed, as trees shed their leaves, curtains draw apart revealing distant views previously hidden.

Challenging to pass by ignoring avenues of trees and woodland resplendent in myriad colours of Autumn. 

Winter to follow. But their bare branches offer optimism; reaching for heaven, awaiting the birth of another season.
